In-Character Information
Name: Omega.
Game/Series: Mega Man Zero III.
Teacher/Student/Other: Student; he had to join as a student to get to Copy X.
Canon Point: Midway into the game, after receiving the Dark Elf and inserting her into his body.
Age: He's been alive for well over a decade, and even longer than that.
Grade Level/Class Taught/Job: Junior.
Dorm or Living Arrangement: He'll be moving in with Copy X. Whether Copy X likes it or not. (Both mun's have agreed to this, if it's a-okay with the mods.)
Personality: To simply put, Omega lacks much of any emotions. He was created with the sole purpose to bring destruction to the land, nothing more. He enjoys the fear and terror his fingertips can bring, the look on humans and replica-robots (reploids) faces as he brings down the world around them. There are no good intentions within his core, and he's completely fine with just that. He wasn't labeled the "God of Destruction" for picking flowers and helping the heroes catch their villains. He lives for fear, and if he could, he'd bathe in the blood of his enemies.
Along with that, Omega is actually quite spiteful when his (or his creator's) plans are ruined. After he was shoved up into a space prison for over a decade, he spent the next years falling into his own hate and anger towards those who sent him up into space. And losing in fights to the one truly responsible only fuels that anger. Omega is constantly pulled to the last thread when it comes to a certain Wilybot who's name starts with "Z" and ends with "ero". It's only a small satisfaction that his true body is that of Zero's, and that ironically, he acts what Zero was intended to be. Omega is so sure that due to owning that body, he should be considered the "true" Zero, not the Zero running around in a fake body.
While Omega is completely faithful to his creator, he does possess a soul of his own, as other reploids. His master orders will always come first, even if they end in his death--but nonetheless, he contains a consciousness, and he's aware of his and his creator's actions. Does he care? Of course not. He's built for destroying, not caring about the lives of anybody besides his creator, and his own. He does occasionally step in to assist X's Copy, but only so that his master's plan can be perfectly accomplished. (Although, it's speculated that he wasn't aware of Copy X's safe switch and would probably be a little sore if he did discover Copy X had blown up.)
Omega fears little, being a robot with only emotions compared to that of the devil. But, he is insecure when it comes to Zero. Zero is the reason he keeps fighting (spiritually), the one that drives him to his ambitions. If he is to lose to Zero again, there's a good chance Omega would become further unstable, that even his hate would override that of his desire to serve his creator.
A unique thing about Omega, despite all the destruction he causes, blood-lust in his system, his incredible hate for Zero, he doesn't talk, nor show much of any emotions in the large armor he wears. But of course, if you get that pretty armor off of him to show his true body, Omega most definitely will show the spite and smirks, and reveal the hidden dark emotions deep within his core.
He's a sinister sadist who will definitely mock above you with a laugh. Everyone is below him and his creator, and he has no problem proving otherwise. However, on the inside, it's (speculated, once again) that while brewing in anger while in space, Omega had felt lonely. And that during his battle in the Elf Wars, and even when returned down to Earth, a part in his body had yearned in wanting something akin to the relationship between X and Zero. Of course, he would never say such notions out loud, that perhaps the desire was something within Zero's old body. During the battles, Omega was able to see Zero and X work together, and on Omega's side, it's just himself. Besides his creator, the only other one that he could get along with in this way would be Copy X. Yet, again, if it does come down to it, his creator is far more important to Omega.
Backstory: Omega wasn't created out of the blue, or to act like any other reploid around. No, he was purely born to assist in his creator to bring the destruction of all reploids who didn't bend to the human's will. It was just after the Maverick Wars and the destruction of Sigma (a reploid who carried a virus that would cause reploids to become Mavericks), that his master began to plot. No, this wouldn't do. Reploids could always become Mavericks, and they would kill humans again. While his master had assisted in the creation of the Mother Elf, a cyber-elf that stopped the Maverick Wars, his master would plot to use her for his own benefit. But he would need the assistance of another creation. Enter Omega, a reploid built to believe he was the God of Destruction, and the bringer of death, to reploids and humans who didn't bow down to Dr. Weil's plans.
His creator would then propose they initiate Project Elpizo, a plan to merge Mother Elf with Omega, to take control of each and every reploid. A number of humans feared the idea of another war due to the reploids going Maverick, and they began to favor this idea. After all, reploids should pay for the destruction they had caused; at least, that's what they believed. However, even if Dr. Weil gained just a few nods of agreement, it wasn't enough. He would then kidnap Mother Elf and take Zero's old body with him to a secret laboratory where he would set his plans into motion. At first, Dr. Weil intended on merging Mother Elf with Zero's mindless body, that she would be his bringer of destruction. But, as it turned out, that wasn't the case, and he would require someone far more fearful, and one that would require a reploid to lean into his plans. Zero's body would be used to bring in Omega, the perfect reploid, a "Messiah" of the world Weil intended on creating. How ironic that if X were to get involved, he'd be fighting his dear friend's old body.
Yet, even with Omega's strong body, it wouldn't be enough. Omega would need more protection, more strength. The good doctor would then go onto to make an exterior armor around Omega, slowing his movements, but giving him ultimate power. The Dark Elf was merged in with Omega, giving Omega the power to control all the reploids, casting aside the need for baby elves (clones of the Dark Elf). Omega's body was given new weapons, stronger armor, and a consciousness of his own. Oh, to make the plan more excellent, Omega ended up faithful to Weil, would never act out on his own, or go against his master. Anything Weil wanted, he would get. How perfect that as Omega gained his consciousness, he would want to destroy and bring terror upon the land, just as his master wanted. However, before Omega could even enter the battle of the Elf Wars, Dark Elf was reclaimed by Zero, who ordered that all reploids turn against Omega's master.
Omega would go on to lead Weil's side in the Elf Wars, causing fear to those who had the unfortunate chance to run into him. He was assisted in by a few Mechaniloids, marching upon lands to stop Zero, X, and the those that refuse to side with his master. And while he brought terror and fear with him, he was also stopped a little too easily for his liking by the heroes. He hadn't reached perfection, due to Dark Elf being reclaimed, and giving him less power and strength. And with his defeat, would bring the end of the Elf Wars.
In the Elf War alone was considered the worst war, something Omega would pride himself in later on, even if he was put to a stop. Ninety percent of all reploids lives were lost, and sixty percent of humans were now deceased. The four years of destruction was ended with an agreement to send Omega into prison for his crimes, to be locked away on the Forbidden Arc into space. His master would then be turned into a cyborg, to live forever in exile, and never forget the pain and destruction he had created and caused. It was thought that neither would cause any more problems, or terror ever again. It was speculated that Omega wasn't punished too harshly, due to being created by the same man who made the eight Gentle Judges. Nonetheless, it was in space that Omega was left alone, and forced to recall he battle over and over. What he could have done, what abilities he should or shouldn't have used when, how to reclaim Mother Elf, Zero, Zero, Zerozerozerozero!!
And to Omega's amusement later on, things would take another path...
After just two months from the Elpizo incident (Mega Man Zero 2), which ended with Dark Elf being released from her seal, and more than a number of years since Omega's banishment, the Forbidden Arc crashes down to Earth. The Forbidden Arc was the name given to the cell that held Omega, where he brewed for years contemplating gaining revenge for his imprisonment. As luck would have it, Dr. Weil gets to him first.
It's only a little while later that Zero comes to the arc, where Omega is shown fighting two of the guardian's to Neo Arcadia. After finishing them off, he engages with Zero. The two battle for awhile, Zero damaging Omega the best he could, but with Omega's armor, he's able to rejuvenate, and resume his battle. The last guardian, Harpuia, comes to join in the battle, that is, until Omega's master puts a stop to it, along with the newly rejuvenated Copy X. While Omega would rather destroy Zero, his master would come in first. That, and there would be a plan for Zero's retirement a little later on. Even with Harpuia's warning over Omega's destructive behavior, Copy X is in favor of him and Dr. Weil, and both were given permission to return to Neo Arcadia. It would be later noted that since Omega returned to Earth, portals around Earth started to form, which would lead Zero to a cyberspace realm.
Omega leaves with his master and Copy X, to Neo Arcadia, where the plan to search for Dark Elf was in order. Dr. Weil goes on to "upgrade" the judges that had sentenced him, speculations proposing that when he did so, Omega stuck close to Copy X, to ensure he remained safe so that Dr. Weil's plans wouldn't be threatened. It's very soon that his master is crowned the leader of the Neo Arcadian army, stripping the three guardian's of their powers to Neo Arcadia. As Dr. Weil's first demand, the army and Omega would search for the Dark Elf, and return with her.
Not long after, Omega is transported into a missile unit, and loaded into one. The missile would then be fired at Area Z-3079, in order to capture the fleeing Dark Elf. Zero attempted to stop the missile form being fired, but was too late, and forced to find his way inside in order to stop Omega and the missile all together. Inside, Omega is immobile, and the two baby elves, Crea and Prea, fight off Zero to keep from ruining the plans of Dr. Weil. Their plans work to stall Zero, and the missile comes crashing down into the district, which turns out to be a civilian area.
Omega leaves the remains of the missile, locating the Dark Elf close by. It's when Zero regains consciousness that he captures her, forcing her to merge within his body, and turning his larger armor of white and red to gold and blue. The guardian, Harpuia, attempts to stop him, as already, Omega had destroyed the lives of those in the area from the missile. However, for Omega, he's easily able to stop Harpuia, and is about to deal Zero his fate, when the Resistance transports the both of them out of his clutches. With his mission fulfilled for now, and endless power at his fingertips, Omega returns back to Dr. Weil, for further orders.
Upon returning to his master's side, news broke out that Copy X was missing, even his location was no where near Neo Arcadia. Without the copy there to trick and hold up to the good doctor's plans, the mission would end just as sourly as it did during the Elf Wars. Dr. Weil then orders Omega to go and search for the copy, while he uses Neo Arcadia's army to stall Zero and the Resistance. It's not too difficult to locate the copy, he is the "Messiah" after all, but he's required to use a transporter, as the coordinates weren't anywhere nearby.
Omega would come to find himself at Smash Academy, something all together abnormal and different than the area he's accustomed to. His intentions are to seek out the copy, kidnap him, and return back to Neo Arcadia, before Zero could stop his master's plans and goals. But, as luck would have it, even with his strength, power, and terror, it's not so easy as to slip in undetected, leaving Omega the only choice as to enroll, so that he may get closer to Copy X. He's forced to rid himself of his larger armor, leaving Omega to use Zero's old body while he attends the school.
It would soon come to light to the "Messiah", that after enrolling, it's not as easy as leaving with Copy X.
Anything Else?: Like mentioned above, Omega doesn't speak. He knows how, he just chooses not to do so. However, when pushed to the last button and his anger is fueling him, or even when his pride takes over (especially when it comes to his title of "Messiah" threatened), he'll definitely open his big mouth with a hiss. He doesn't talk long, nor make big speeches, just usually sharp words or short sentences. Talk is short when you want to sink your claws into your enemies. It does go without saying that he'll claim himself to be "the messiah", and will make sure nobody forgets.
In-Character 1st person sample: video;;
[At first, only a growl is heard, almost animalistic before the screen is uncovered by a set of claws. There really is not a clear view of the one responsible for holding the device, as they purposely kept the view on their attire, and not their face.
A snort. A scoff. And the tinkering of claws over the screen of the phone could be heard. This goes on for another few minutes, before the owner gives a final growl and tilts the phone up, revealing one, narrowed red eye.]
X. [The name is even hissed, to prove just how annoyed he was.]
Stadium. Now.
[There's no waiting time for a response, or even a proper explanation, as the feed is quickly shut off with a furious, final growl.]
In-Character 3rd person sample: At first, Omega couldn't properly consider what the note had meant. Nothing in his system computed with the letters written down in such a neat hand-writing. It had his eyes narrow, his frown deepening. He stared at it for awhile, glaring it into pieces, as if that would solve the problem. But really, was there a problem? No. Just pure confusion for the reploid of destruction.
There was no name on the letter, nor was there a sign that it was meant for him. The note just had been placed in his locker. No doubt, this had to be a joke. What sort of pathetic human would send him a disgustingly affectionate note? With a growl, Omega pockets the note, deciding he'd later figure out what to do with it. The whole idea sickened him. While he learned to live with these humans (due to rules, threats, whatever Master Hand threw at him), Omega would be damned if he allowed one to get so cozy, or even consider the idea. He was to be destruction down upon the world, not get all doe-eyed stares from those disgusting mortals.
It was during another one of those boring classes, Physics, if he cared to remember, that Omega dragged the note back out. He considered ripping it up. But, another part, the darker side of him, thought about finding the one who put this note in his locker, and ripping it up in their face. Oh, that would be a pleasant sight. Would they cry? Or get angry? Humans were so fickle, and any pain on their face was a delight to Omega. If he wasn't already bored enough in class, he most likely would have forgotten the note all together, but since nothing interesting was going on, it was up to him to make it more fun. Now, who would even write the note? He wasn't particularly close with a single person, that was for sure. And he wasn't the nicest person around in the academy either.
The letter is read several more times, as if the words would come to life and whisper the name of his admirer. The affectionate slave that Omega intended on breaking like a little doll. Ah. He had to bite back a smirk. It'd be troublesome of the teacher were to look over and question the motives he had for giving such a sinister look. Whoever the owner of the letter was, they would surely regret ever feeling so strongly towards the bringer of destruction. Soon enough, Omega isn't contemplating who the owner could be, but what of their reactions to his response.
As Omega kicks his legs back, to get further comfortable in his seat, he decides on a much better tactic. With a lick to his lips, Omega glances down at the note. There's a quiet chuckle, barely enough for himself to hear before the Messiah is glancing around. His plan? Break down his admirer by giving the note to someone else. There was a good possibility that the owner of the note wasn't in the room, but word would travel around fast. At least, for an admirer of his. Eventually, Omega is settling on the one desk to the left of him, making a small "slap" as the note is landed on the desk. Good. That outta teach that damn admirer of his.
